Programme Overview and Methodology
The GetBox UK programme provides free internet connectivity through small, easy-to-use Wi-Fi devices that can connect up to 20 people at a time, with all costs covered by Jangala and VM02, including hardware, delivery, ongoing support and free data through the National Databank. Each Get Box creates reliable, safe and secure Wi-Fi networks designed specifically for households and individuals facing digital exclusion.
Target Population
The programme targets any of our Service Users who may face digital exclusion, such as
- People living with HIV requiring consistent internet access for healthcare appointments
- New arrivals to the UK experiencing digital exclusion barriers
- Individuals and families unable to afford home broadband or mobile data
- Community members struggling to access essential online service

The GetBox device prioritises user friendly design – it’s compact, portable, and includes comprehensive setup guidance. We can offer advice and guidance on how to set the boxes up.
