There are many ways to get tested for HIV and STIs with BHA. You can book an in-person appointment at one of our community clinics, click and collect a STI test from a community venue, or order a Home STI and HIV test. In person appointments:
BHA offers free & confidential HIV test appointments for Black, Asian and minority ethnic GM residents within community settings across Greater Manchester.

At our appointments you will be offered a RAPID HIV test, where you can get your results in one minute.
We also offer free full screen STI tests, where you can test for Syphilis, Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, Hepatitis B & C. Full screen tests are provided by the Northern Sexual Health, and have to be sent to the lab to be processed. You will receive your results via text message in 2-4 weeks.

(HOME POSTAL SERVICE) For residents of Manchester, Salford and Trafford residents only, we offer a Rapid HIV self-test. This test delivers a HIV result in one minute.

For all residents of Greater Manchester, we offer a postal service HIV test. For this test, you return the kit to The Northern Sexual Health, part of the NHS. The results will be sent to you within 3 weeks. Click here to order a kit
