BHA Prep video for GPs
As part of a larger PrEP awareness campaign, BHA for Equality have produced a short awareness video to be displayed in GPs surgeries across Greater Manchester.
PrEP is a pill that can prevent HIV and is available for free on the NHS. However, as well as facing other barriers, many of the communities most at risk of HIV are unaware of PrEP and therefore are not accessing it, increasing the likelihood of HIV being transmitted amongst most-at risk populations. We want to change this.
Greater Manchester is a Fast Track City and has pledged to end all new cases of HIV by 2030. Our aim for this video is to increase awareness of PrEP and encourage more to access this medication and take charge of their sexual health.
This video has been designed to be displayed on GP Surgery waiting room TVs, allowing all GM residents to join the campaign to end all new cases of HIV within a generation.
