Tell us about your role at BHA
I support people to get on top of all the complicated issues that get in the way of living well with HIV. Anything could come up- so this involves a lot of signposting and helping people get expert advice.
How did you end up working in this field
I was a Mental Health Support Worker before & facilitated an LGBTQIA+ group in Skyline premises. I really liked the team and the ethos of Skyline so when a job came up I applied.
Tell us something interesting about yourself
I’m passionate about kid’s fiction, especially LGBTQIA+ representation in kid’s books, sci-fi & fantasy. I carry Emergency Nuts at all times – they are brilliant for when I can’t decide what I want for lunch.
